Prime Steakhouse, adjacent to the Magnolia Hotel & Spa’s lobby, has quickly become a favourite in Victoria for business lunches and romantic dinners since opening in 2009.
With six cuts of aged beef, Prime is a steak lover’s paradise. Fresh seafood, lamb, poultry and pasta round out the menu, featuring seasonal specials that change weekly and incorporate the freshest of local ingredients. It’s all impeccably complemented by an extensive wine and liquor selection and exceptional service.
Chef Batty attributes the succulent flavour and tenderness of his steaks to the on-site dry aging process and the kitchen’s Montague over-fired broiler, which seals in the flavor and juice with a crisp crust.
We also frequently hear guests raving about our Black N Blue Tuna, sesame-crusted tuna served with wasabi mustard and soy ginger as well as our Lobster Linguini, lobster, bacon and arugula served in a cream sauce with shaved Parmesan cheese.
The décor is equally delicious. A massive six-foot wide iron chandelier, plush furnishings and floor-to-ceiling velvet drapes welcome guests to the expanded informal lounge. And an earthy palette sets a warm scene around the fireplace, a great place to unwind during your Victoria stay.
