Victoria, BC (November 16, 2016) It’s the most wonderful time of the year and Magnolia hotel & Spa’s ‘Christmas in Victoria’ package offers a fun and festive way to enjoy the holiday season, from only $199 per night.

“Christmas is one of the most cherished times of year for many of our guests and we want to ensure that it’s extra memorable for them,” says Magnolia’s General Manager, Bill Lewis. “We’ve included special touches, from the daily gift voucher for our guests to use as they please, to our Festive Trail, which helps guests to explore the best of Christmas in the city.”

The Festive Trail is part of the hotel’s Curated Trails program, which introduces guests to the ‘Victoria you wouldn’t expect’. Festive Trail highlights include Christmas in Old Town at the Royal BC Museum and a holiday Ferris Wheel to kindle that Christmas spirit.

After a fun day exploring the yuletide gems around town, Magnolia invites guests to warm up with a hot cup of mulled apple cider and cookies in the hotel’s lobby or wind down to relax in their suite’s deep soaker tub and luxurious beds. Special Christmas treats will also be delivered to each guest’s door as part of the hotel’s nightly turndown service. The ‘Christmas in Victoria’ package also includes a $25 daily voucher for a hotel service of choice to ensure that each guest has a very special holiday, no matter how they choose to celebrate.

Enjoy a “Room with a Boo” at the Magnolia Hotel & Spa

Have a spook-tacular time in Canada’s most-haunted city this Halloween

Victoria, BC (September 7, 2016): Forget the tricks, it’s all about the treats at Magnolia Hotel & Spa this Halloween.

Throughout October, Victoria’s leading boutique hotel will be offering guests a frightfully good time with the new Room with a Boo package, from just $219/night*. Guests begin their Halloween hotel experience from the moment they step into the lobby and are greeted by a display of ornately carved pumpkins and a cup of pumpkin spiced tea. Treats continue in the room with award-winning amenities from deep-soaker tubs to gorgeous views of Victoria’s Inner Harbour.

“Magnolia is always proud to play a part in Victoria’s famous Halloween celebrations,” says Bill Lewis, General Manager of Magnolia Hotel & Spa. “We are all about the treats – from our themed lobby welcome, sweet turn-down treats and guided ghostly walks – and we love welcoming guests that are returning to their favourite old haunt.”

Room with a Boo packages include a guided ghostly walk for two with Discover the Past Walking Tours, led by one of the City’s foremost storytellers, John Adams. Having had collected over 500 ghostly encounters himself, each year he selects a few of his most fun and frightful tales to guide guests through Victoria’s most historic and haunted sites in a spooky stroll through town. After the tour, it’s just a short (and well-lit) walk back to Magnolia where guests can enjoy a special treat from local Roger’s Chocolates as part of the package’s nightly turn-down service.

*Room with a Boo packages are available from October 1-6 and from October 10-31, 2016. To book, please visit www.magnoliahotel.com or call 1-877-624-6654.
