Curated Journeys, explore beyond Victoria’s inner harbour

Explore beyond Victoria’s beautiful inner harbour with our Curated Journeys.

These unique experiences will take you beyond Victoria’s beautiful streets with hanging flower baskets and downtown shops. From wildlife to scenery, local wines and ciders, discover more of the greater Victoria and lower Vancouver Island area!

Discover the wine region of Cowichan Valley, about 40 minutes outside of downtown Victoria.

The Cowichan Valley’s prolific agricultural region is home to 15 wineries, Canada’s first estate cidery and outstanding balsamic vinegar! The cool climate lends itself well to a number of varietals, including Pinot Gris, Ortega, Gewurztraminer, Muller-Thurgau, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Gamay and Marechal Foch.

Island Time Tours visits 3 wineries on their Cowichan Valley tour, with 4 to 7 tastes at each stop. Along the way you’ll enjoy mountain vistas, forests and panoramic ocean views. Included is a local artisanal charcuterie picnic, dietary needs can be accommodated with advance notice, and your knowledgeable guide will share the history of the region.

Tours are $139 per person and are approximately 6 hours. Tours run Wednesday through Sunday February through December.
